The Peakboard Box is operated with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise. This allows you to mount it in the appropriate domain and manage it like other computers on the network and perform regular updates.
The Peakboard Box is equipped with software, Peakboard Runtime, which executes the logic of data processing and visualization. Peakboard Designer, Peakboard Runtime and Peakboard Box, as well as connected systems and databases, communicate in an encrypted manner – you decide when and with which data sources, systems or machines communication takes place. This keeps the data within the company.

The Peakboard Box consists of a single circuit board, protected by a sturdy aluminum housing. The connections are soldered robustly on the board.
Since the case also serves for heat dissipation, an additional fan is unnecessary. Optionally, you can seal your Peakboard Box with an (additional) cover to make it fit for special industrial environments, such as very humid rooms.

You always need hardware to display data on a screen. This is particularly easy with the Peakboard Box. With Peakboard BYOD, you can also use alternative hardware to visualize your industrial application.

Direct communication

The communication between the Peakboard Box and source systems or machines or sensors is done completely independently and directly. No central server is required, which reduces latency enormously.

e.g., when it comes to a firewall or access rights.

Peakboard offers you all the technical and organizational options for integration into a compliant OT and IT environment. The entire Peakboard solution does not require an Internet connection if you don’t want this – it can run completely on your LAN network. Peakboard can be deployed in an existing technology environment.

The Peakboard Box starts with a Windows user who has no rights except those necessary for viewing. The user cannot install anything or run any other software except the one provided by us.

In addition, Peakboard Box runs in a kiosk mode that does not allow switching to desktop mode.

The Peakboard administrator account and password will be sent to you separately by email.

Note: Please change the password and keep it digitally. It cannot be reset if lost!

Yes. The circuit board in the Peakboard Box is protected by a robust aluminum housing. If the environment is suitable for a standard monitor (TV), you can also easily place your Peakboard Box there. In addition, it is possible to mount the Peakboard Box via a top-hat rail (mounting rail). Optionally, you can seal your Peakboard Box with an additional cover to make it fit for special industrial environments, e.g. very humid rooms.

The operating system is Microsoft Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and does not allow the installation of any other components. Besides the operating system, only the Peakboard-Runtime runs on the Peakboard Box.
