Features and functions

No matter which department, industry, or company size, Excel is an indispensable tool in almost every office in the world. Peakboard lets you see your Excel files in a completely new light. Visualize your data stored in an Excel spreadsheet in Peakboard Designer. Decide for yourself whether you want to display the entire spreadsheet or just a part of it.
If your Excel table is static, then you can easily add it as a local resource in Peakboard Designer. If the data changes, you can dynamically edit your Excel spreadsheet, e.g., on a network drive, OneDrive, or SharePoint.
If you need to prepare or post-process data before visualization, or if you want to visualize your data together with data from other data sources, you can do this with simple formulas and commands in the Lua script editor. If you don’t want to use the data itself, but rather a graphic that was already created in the Excel file as part of a visualization, that’s no problem for Peakboard either. Simply connect, filter and display Excel with Peakboard Designer.
On our help site you can find additional information about how to connect Excel data.
For a quick start with your first visualization, you can transfer your Excel files directly to Peakboard Box using Peakboard Designer. Or you can also save the Excel file to a cloud storage service, such as Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive, SharePoint, or Google Drive. In addition, Peakboard also supports domain-internal network drives as a source for Excel files.
Do you want to get started with your first visualization right away? Our Template Portal offers a host of free templates with Excel support that you can use on your dashboard.

"You can dig into plotting simple data. If you like it a bit prettier, you can also use the countless templates and customize them easily. If you do need support, it is 100% on point and very personally interested. We used to implement wallboards with the help of old Windows laptops. I was thrilled that there was such a super solution for this to be handled more professionally."
Benjamin S.
IT Administrator
"The visualization makes a very professional impression. Whereas Flipchart was used for presentation before, Peakboard now takes over. Up to date and attentive. Overall very good system for visualizing process data."
